Craig Homchick, CPA joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 1985 and became a member in 1988. He is also a Certified Financial Planner. He has extensive experience with dental practices and the horticulture industry. Craig especially enjoys working with family businesses on the management, tax and financial issues of transitioning ownership to the next generation. Craig received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington State University in 1975, and a M.B.A. from Cornell University in 1985. Craig is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former Chair of the Washington State Certified Public Accountant Personal Financial Planning Committee and the North Central Washington Estate Planning Council. He served on the boards of NCW Community Bank and Central Washington Hospital. Craig is currently on the Board of the NCW Community Foundation.
Jim Matsumura, CPA , CVA joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 1991 and became a member in 1996. Prior to coming to Homchick, Smith and Associates, PLLC, Jim worked for KPMG Peat Marwick. Jim graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Jim has over 24 years of public accounting experience and specializes in financial statement services, business valuations and taxation for individuals and closely held businesses. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Chris McCarthy, CPA joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 1997 and has been a member since 2004. Chris graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Business degree in business administration and Golden Gate University with a Masters of Science in Taxation. Chris specializes in taxation and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Roger Harris, CPA joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 1979. Roger graduated from Eastern Washington University. His practice areas include financial statement services and individual and business income taxation and planning. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Roger is involved with several nonprofit groups in the Wenatchee Valley.
Kelly Boreson, CPA graduated magna cum laude from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 1992. Her accounting specialties include tax preparation and financial statement services. Kelly is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is the past President of the National Society of Accountants for Cooperative’s northwest chapter and is a member of Wenatchee Central Lions.
Angela Collins, CPA graduated magna cum laude from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She began working in public accounting in 2003 and joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 2005. Her accounting specialties include tax preparation, financial statement services, estate planning, and the preparation of estate tax and trust returns. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
John Simmons, CPA graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Professional Accounting. He joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 2005. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. His professional interests include business and individual tax preparation, tax planning, and financial statement services. Prior to joining Homchick, Smith and Associates John served in the United States Navy for eight years.
Aaron Wilbur, CPA graduated magna cum laude from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. She began her public accounting career in 2001 and has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since 2006. Her accounting specialties include tax preparation, estate planning, cross border and international tax issues, and financial statement services. Aaron is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is involved in several nonprofit groups in the Wenatchee Valley.
Jean O’Rourke, CPA graduated from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in 1998. Her area of emphasis is individual and business tax return preparation, tax planning, financial statement preparation, and accounting services. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is and has been involved in several nonprofit groups and volunteered for several schools and school related functions in the Wenatchee Valley.
Carla Bartelme, CPA graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since 2002. Her areas of emphasis are tax preparation and accounting services. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Katrina Isler, CPA graduated from Concordia University, Portland with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She began working in public accounting in January 2000 and joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in November 2008. Her specialties include business and individual income taxes and financial statement services. Katrina is licensed in Washington and Oregon and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jonathan Buschbach, CPA graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Masters of Accounting degree and has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since September 2007. Jonathan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His professional interests include financial statement services and business valuation.
Nathan Collyer, CPA graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since October of 2007. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kaylan Crane, CPA graduated from Lewis-Clark State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since May of 2009. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Jeremy Reuble, CPA graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since December of 2007. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike Harrison, CPA , staff accountant, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University. He is a long time cherry orchardist in the Wenatchee Valley and has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since December 2010.
Meaghan Greydanus is a staff accountant and joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in August 2011. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting in Taxation. She is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Sabine Harm is a staff accountant. She joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in January 2001. Sabine holds a Master’s degree in Economics and began working in public accounting in 1986. She is also a CFP. In addition to English, Sabine speaks German, French and Spanish. Her areas of emphasis are tax preparation and bookkeeping services.
Cheryl Hall is a bookkeeper with 22 years’ experience in various fields. She moved to Wenatchee from the Puget Sound area in 2006 and has been assisting staff and clients for Homchick Smith & Associates since 2007.
Nora Williams, bookkeeper, and has been servicing a variety of clients since 1978. Nora is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. She has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since December 2010.
Doris Pickard is Office Manager and has been assisting staff and clients for Homchick, Smith & Associates since 1989. She moved to the Wenatchee Valley after graduating from Bismarck State College and working for the State of Wyoming.
Executive Assistant and Bookkeeper
Tracy Parke is an Administrative Assistant. She graduated from Trend Business College with a degree in Legal Administration in 1987. She has been working in the legal field since that time. Tracy joined Homchick, Smith & Associates in January of 2011.
Chelsea Christie is an Administrative Assistant. She is currently enrolled in the online program through Central Washington University. She will be graduating in the summer of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Business Administration. She has been with Homchick, Smith & Associates since January 2011.
